I am a San Francisco native and have spent most of my life in San Francisco. My husband, Wilbur, and I have been married for twelve years. God has blessed us with two sons Caleb (9) and Evan (8).
I graduated from Simpson University with a Liberal Studies degree. I spent the next 4 years teaching first and third grades in private Christian schools in San Francisco and South Korea. I went on to receive my Master's degree in Intercultural Studies from Union University.
I spent the last (almost) decade being mom to my two boys. I have been substitute teaching in public schools in San Francisco for the past 4 years. I'm excited to be back in my own classroom again! I believe that God has used all of my years teaching elementary school, being a mom, and substitute teaching to prepare me for this! I'm looking forward to a wonderful year ahead!
